My Sweet Lord - Homenagem a George Harrison -Vídeo

*Trata-se da interpretacão da cancão My Sweet Lord de George Harrison**; realizada por um grupo de excelentes músicos, todos amigos de George. Este concerto foi em sua homenagem, dois anos depois de sua morte.
No Violão 12 cordas: Eric Clapton, na guitarra elétrica o filho de George Harrison, ao piano Paul McCartney, na bateria Ringo Star,na percussão Phill Collins, e na segunda guitarra elétrica Tom Petty, ao órgão e interpretando a primeira voz o incrível Billy Preston.Entre as vocalistas do coro esta Linda Eastman, esposa de Paul McCartney. Também estavam presentes nesse concerto:Bob Dylan,Ravi Shankar,Jethro Tull e um número enorme de amigos e colegas dos Beatles, assim como todo grupo 'The Cream' de Eric Clapton. Todos um pouco gordos e enrrugados, mas encarnando o melhor do melhor, representativo dos anos 70. Billy Preston chegou a ser conhecido como o quinto Beatle; foi ele que sempre tocou o piano e o órgão em todas as gravacões dos Beatles. Maravilhoso!!!*

A Canção composta por Harrison, nos anos 70 fala da fé sob o olhar dos indianos, com os quais ele se indentificava desde a excursão dos Beatles por aquela região, e é realmente muito bonita.
